Why should my student take private voice lessons?

Private voice lessons are a great opportunity for students to receive additional, weekly, and customized one-on-one instruction. Our private voice teachers are professional, classically-trained vocal coaches and performers who specialize in meeting the individual musical needs of each student. Students who participate in voice lessons generally rank higher at UIL Solo & Ensemble and TMEA Region events.

How much do voice lessons cost and when do they take place?

FBISD Fine Arts Handbook dictates that voice teachers may charge $27 per half hour lesson. Voice lessons will occur once a week, Monday-Friday. A schedule for voice lessons will be set once students have registered and committed to lessons for the 2022-2023 school year.

How long of a commitment are private voice lessons?

When signing up for voice lessons, both students and parents will commit to paying for and taking lessons with their teacher for the entirety of the calendar school year.
